I can’t speak from any experience at all in regards to the MODE though. Here is the place where I gather the save data for Saturn games. I haven’t installed it on mine though, since I like the Windows 95 aesthetic, it has that cool vintage computer feel and matches the Saturn’s original era aesthetically. It’s a more modern looking menu that you can put on the Satiator which has custom colors and the ability to upload game artwork, you just have to download it from their site and follow their instructions. However, Satiator is also open source I believe, so people can make their own things for it and the biggest and most relevant project is Satiator Rings. MODE is known for a more detailed menu and you can apparently assign artwork for each game. Satiator has a bland menu by default but I like it a lot since it’s nostalgic to me, it looks like Windows 95. MODE requires some installation, I can’t speak from any experience how labor intensive it is though, so I dunno if you solder anything or just snap things into place. Satiator can be instantly installed, just pop it right into the Saturn’s butt and you don’t have to take anything apart or change anything.
